Dallas, TX – Art For The Bridge, a two-party fund-raiser concept featuring a black-tie dinner and art auction, will be September 11 and 13th at the Dallas Women’s Museum. The 2007 event raised $100,000 for The Bridge Breast Network, a non-profit organization that links uninsured women to diagnostic and treatment services for breast cancer.
Artists, galleries and collectors graciously donate artwork to an auction party that will be Thursday, September 11th. Tickets to the Artists’ Reception and Preview Party begin at $150 per person and are available by visiting www.artforthebridge.org. A portion of each ticket is tax-deductible.
The Art For The Bridge Black-Tie Dinner and Art Auction will be Saturday, September 13th. The evening’s festivities include cocktails, seated dinner, live auction and a featured entertainer. Tickets to the dinner are limited and begin at $2,000 per couple. They are available by visiting artforthebridge.org. A portion of each ticket is tax-deductible. Art For The Bridge is the vision of breast cancer survivor and philanthropist Priscilla Beshears. Under her guidance, the $100,000 raised last year provided ten times its value in care, enabling North Texas women to receive care valued at $1 million. Suzanne Bock is Chairman of the 2008 Art For The Bridge project and is working closely with Ms. Beshears to ensure its success.
