Karmen serves as the Operations
Manager for Collegiate Explorations Tours (CE Tours). She received a BS and MS in the area of Computer Science
from Florida A&M
University and Michigan State
University respectively.
Karmen has an extensive background of working with students through various
community programs and activities. Due to her passion for working with
students, she left her position in the corporate world to pursue teaching opportunities
at the high school level. Karmen then went on to pursue a full-time position assisting
student groups to obtain exposure to colleges and universities throughout the
country through Collegiate Explorations. She is currently working on
implementing a program to assist students in the application process and their
transition to post secondary education.
CE Tours
customizes college campus tours, providing the complete college visit
experience as well as educational travel excursions for school groups
and youth based organizations for the right time and locations that the
students wish to experience. Our
educational trips and college visit packages include all travel and
hotel accommodations. In addition, Collegiate Exploration Tours can
arrange the planning for all meals, dining reservations, and any
special activities such as museums, performances, or amusement parks
that may be desired for a college tour, a college visit, a campus visit
or for general educational tourism. In essence, CE provides a great
deal of convenience by doing all of the planning, arranging, calling,
and reserving for your educational trip or college visit allowing group
leaders and educators to focus on their own daily responsibilities and
activities.
