Hi Vince,
Thanks for your voicemail yesterday it was great to hear from you, sorry I missed your call! I am so glad that you had a blast with the SMPS groupies they are quite a fun group, I’m actually still recovering!
I can tell you that the audience absolutely LOVED your speech, I had extremely positive feedback. You really hit the nail on the head in terms of exactly what we were looking for in a keynote, and I appreciate that more than you know. I overheard conversations throughout the rest of the conference about how fantastic you were.
Thank you again, Vince! We had a great time with you as well, and truly appreciate your efforts. And thanks for the Gold Dot Starter Kit what a great marketing piece!
Regards,
Thanks Vince,
The conference was also buzzing from your presentation. A sampling of some comments that I received:
"That was an absolute Home Run!"
"The best corporate speaker I have heard"
"He really hit the nail on the head with our bump in the road."
"This is a tough audience for presenters since that is what our group does on a day-to-day basis. If someone's message is good, we tend to be critical of the presentation style. If the presentation style is good, we tend to be critical of the message. Vince blew us away with both content and delivery."
"I was impressed with how much he was able to personalize his presentation with Oracle information. It was almost like he had worked here."
And there were more "great speaker" comments than I can list here. Awesome job!!!
Also, I thought that you would like to hear that our GVP sponsors for the event (for the 6 lines of businesses represented) decided to open up the final general session with all 6 of them on stage in the "ready" position. They had the woman that you had picked out of the audience re-create her "French starter" role by saying (in her French accent) "Ready - Go" and they all jumped into the crouch position. A true tribute to the impact that you had on the group.
Finally, I have had several people indicate that they are interested in purchasing "The Ant and the Elephant" to distribute to their teams. Thus, I would like to take you up on the $10/book offer that we discussed at dinner. Would it be possible to set up something on your web site to facilitate these orders (a separate web page or ordering code?)?
Please let me know what would work best.
I look forward to receiving the links from Cara. Again, thank you very much for everything that your presentation has given to our organization.

Hello Vince - just wanted to take a moment to thank you again for the fantastic job you did at our sales training conference. Our sales folks walked out of the session so jazzed. I think you definitely connected with the audience and that was no small feat given that you were the final presenter on a Saturday at the end of four very long, intense days of training! Our salespeople were ready to bolt but your presentation kept them captivated and glad that they didn't leave early.
Feel free to use me as a reference - I'm so glad my husband Rob (Kos Pharma) referred you to me. Great job!
Vince - Thanks for the follow up. I was out on vacation last week and so am catching up on email now.
Not only Mark, but everyone on the management team (as well as other attendees I spoke with) was impressed with your presentation. As we had expected, it fit very nicely with the objectives of the Summit, however it exceeded our expectations in terms of the delivery and the enthusiasm it generated. It was a very powerful way to punctuate the day's events. We also appreciate the time you spent mingling with the team at the "after glow". It was a genuine pleasure to have you at the Summit.
Please go ahead and reply all with the notes you mentioned as I have copied Mark on this message. Also, I received a note from Cara from your office regarding the names of individuals you spoke with to receive the book and will follow up directly with her - thank you!
Best regards,
Nadia
Just a quick note to Vince:
I saw you in Maui (not bad in and of itself) when you presented to the Microsoft 100% club. I just wanted to thank you for the presentation. Frankly, I am quite skeptical of "motivational speakers", but I found your presentation to be subtly different than most I have seen and I was trying to analyze why. Here is what I came up with:
First, you truly accomplished something - going from non-ranking to top ten in the world in four years. You utilized your principles in succeeding at something other than selling self-help materials and speaking engagements.
Second, you were funny and self-deprecating in an endearing way.
Finally, I found the fact that you did NOT get the gold medal to actually be the most important point. Surely, it would have been "story book" for you to have won in the finals, but your talk was about real-life, not some novel. The "bump in the road" preventing your ultimate triumph makes the lesson much more human and realistic. And the realization and revelation about your father's pride tells a universal truth. Winning really isn't everything, but that doesn't mean that the striving to win isn't important. Obviously, only one person can get the gold in any year - and that shouldn't diminish the hard work, commitment and dedication of all of the others who make the attempt. Your story illustrates that very nicely.
My only regret is that I didn't join you at lunch to talk with you further. Hopefully, our paths will cross sometime in the future.
Best of luck and thanks again.

Hello Vince, I just wanted to take a minute to tell you again how great an impact your presentation had on me.
Over the course of a career we are all scheduled to see speakers from around the country. We all keep the notes and clap and say "gosh that was good. I'm glad I saw this." The reality is that very few of them make a personal impact on your path through life. Watching you was like getting a hit right between the eyes. WOW!
You may remember me. I was the one that could hardly speak when I came over to say thank you when you were done. I was overwhelmed with emotion. I felt as though I not only now had a strategy to attack my mission but that I could now do it without allowing self sabotage to play a part in it.
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us all and I look forward to hearing you speak again one day.

Vince, Thanks for an excellent program! Everyone that I have spoken with thought the program was just excellent and better than anything we have ever conducted.
I had many people, unsolicited, tell me how great it was and how much they enjoyed it. I really believe we have a great start in increasing the level of leadership amongst our group.
Your intense preparation and thorough research of Kos made the difference. Mark Ledogar and I are working on a follow up program to support the upcoming teleforums. Thanks again for a terrific day.

Dear Vince,
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your presentation at our QAD event a couple of weeks ago. I have heard numerous comments around the office about how meaningful your remarks were. Like many people, when you turned on the video from the Olympics, I was sure that I would see a clip of you triumphantly winning the gold (or maybe a silver or bronze). But, I was just as blown away at your ability to hit a bump like that at that speed and stay on your feet (and that's not a half bad message for people to take away!). You really drove home the message that it is the journey that counts, and the commitment and passion one brings to the journey.
I also appreciated your bearing with our technical difficulties....I am sure you have seen your share of technical issues in your public speaking career, but have you ever had to share a sound system with a rural radio station?
I enjoyed talking with you at breakfast and lunch, and I had hoped to thank you in person after your speech, but you probably tried to hurry out before we could feed you another meal! Seriously, thanks for making such an important contribution to our day. Hope to see you again down the road.
Sincerely,

Vince: I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the message you brought at the keynote speaker session. Wow! You were awesome! I laughed and laughed, but on the other hand I was teary eyed at times too. When you spoke of your struggles and defeats yet became victorious thru it all, I truly came away from this session "pumped up". I want you to know that I still have my "gold dots" that you distributed to the group. Every time I see it (on my cell phone and my wallet) I remember "what my vision is"............and in your words, "This is NOT part of my vision" regarding negative thoughts and/or conversations. I have not forgotten your message and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to share my pleasant memories with you thru email. I have etched your words in my mind and think of them often in my daily desires to achieve and accomplish all that I can in my professional career. Vince,
Just a personal note to tell you I truly enjoyed your presentation at our annual kickoff event. It was not only motivating but funny and certainly the most entertainment I had the entire week.
We met briefly in the hall before you went on, I was standing with Candace just before. I remember thinking when you walked up before we were introduced, this guy MUST be the motivational speaker. Before you rack your brain trying to figure out if that’s a compliment or not, let me assure you it is. You are the first person I've met whose "aura" exudes motivation.
I have my gold dots prominently positioned.
I look forward to meeting you again,

Your message last Sunday at the ADP TotalSource event was different. It was
unique. And it made an impact on me.
Several things resonate in my mind; the biggest of which is the Journey of Integrity. I spoke with my father about your presentation and it generated a lot of discussion about my life - where I have been and where I am going. We talked about his life and the lessons he has learned. Interestingly enough, he lives his life focusing on each day and asking himself if he did his best in the workplace and at home. He described your Journey of Integrity. It was a great bonding experience with my dad. Thank you.
Best Regards,
