Mr. Scott Burrows
Dear Scott,Thank you for the inspirational talk you gave to my salesorganization in August. You presented a compelling and veryarticulate message about hope and perseverance in the face ofadversity. Most importantly, you delivered your message with a senseof grace and humility that created a personal bond between you andthe audience.Great job and thank you!
Hi Scott,
I want you to know how much I enjoyed your presentation "Stand up to Your Challenges" on May 15th. You have brought a new level of awareness to our group, in regards to our perceptions, our passions, and our every day outlook. Through your message, on a personal level, I have learned that we can overcome differences, regardless of race, gender or disabilities. With that, we have personal accountability in how we manage each day, make choices and realize our own potential.
It was a wonderful wake-up call to realize our own strengths, and how much it can bring about change in our work environment, as well as our private lives.
Too often we become stagnant in our space, and it takes someone like you to take us to a different realm.
Many of my co-workers can't stop talking about you and your presentation, and are looking forward to your book and DVD.
Take care and thank you!
Best Regards,
Christa

I was truly inspired by your presentation to my sales team in November. I was truly inspired by your story and know each of my folks were. I just received the conference feedback/survey results and your segment received a perfect score. In all my years of running events of this nature I have never seen results/feedback like this. I have also received a number of emails from my folks commenting on how great your presentation was. Thank you so much for sharing your story with me and the team. I know it has made a difference in how we look at our business and life challenges…. We will do it with “Vision, mindset and Grit”!
Thanks again and all the very best to you and your family!

Dear Scott,
The time you spent with us at our National Sales Meeting was truly rewarding and inspirational. As we strive for fulfillment in our personal and professional lives, we thank you for guiding and reminding us that perseverance is as much a habit as failing is, and that adversity and change can become opportunities with positive outcomes.
Thanks again - you did a great job.

Scott,
Just wanted to say thanks for your message today. You are certainly an inspiration and your life is a gift to all of us from God. Your passion to continue to deliver your message of hope and perseverance, and never say die attitude moves us all.
Just made a mental note of your love of golf and business of fertilizer exporting....wondered if you ever made it to the Birmingham, AL area to visit the Pursell Technologies company and their products and the rather unique experience they offer at FarmLinks Golf Club.....
I'm a golf lover myself, and if you ever make it our way, consider this an invitation to play at my club, Shoal Creek, at any time.
Best regards and continued success in your mission.

Thank you for traveling to Austin in order to present to our GE Healthcare IITS Commercial Organization. The 400 members of our Sales and Marketing team were moved by your story of perseverance and grit.
For 2008, our team has been asked to deliver more to the General Electric Company than we ever have before. This will require us to understand and accept the challenge we face, maintain a mindset of success, and pursue our goals with confidence and determination. Your story demonstrated to us that while obstacles in our lives sometimes seem insurmountable, all of them can be overcome provided we have the right vision, mindset, and grit.
Thanks you again for sharing your story with our team, Scott. You are an inspiration to us all.

We recently launched a new sales division and were facing challenges and growing pains common in the start-up phase of many organizations. Often times, the little things can get people down, and in a growth organization, these include basic operational and support challenges, as well as the challenge of being 'first' and having to establish a successful culture and foundation with limited bench strength to draw upon. I believe we can learn a lot from the experiences of others, and was looking for a speaker who could help put the challenges we were facing into perspective, and could share the work ethic, attitude and beliefs they followed down their road to success for my team to learn from. Scott Burrows was definitely the right choice and his personal story touched everyone. Scott worked with my management team and me to understand our business goals and challenges, and effectively paralleled these with his own experiences to illustrate how his approach could be applied to their personal challenges. He was effective in his delivery, was well received by the team, and I believe he provided them with the inspiration and motivation to continue breaking new ground, while establishing a winning culture in the process.

Scott It was great meeting you - can't wait to see you again. All Pleasure. Some Business. The group loved it - the event was so well received. Our home in Denver is open to you and Mona and the most rewarding part is always the relationship. We would love to plan a trip to scuba dive with you as well. Just let me know. Again Scott the pleasure was all mine in having you here and I will help you however I can. As I know you would do for me. Thanks!

Scott did an absolutely tremendous job. He has a powerful message and delivers it in a way that really gets the attention of his audience. At alternating times he had the audience laughing, crying, but throughout he had them thinking about how they were handling the challenges they each face every day.
I had the opportunity to visit with Scott by phone prior to his speech. He was sincerely interested in what made our organization tick, and wanted to know what issues our agents are currently facing. He incorporated our discussion into his speech, personalizing it for our group.
The morning of his speech I met Scott early to do a sound and video check, and to make sure the staging worked for his presentation. We also got to visit during the breakfast prior to our awards program and his speech. You can learn a great deal about someone by working with him and conversing with him over a meal. Scott is a truly nice person, very easy to talk with, and has a warm and engaging personality.
Scott would be a great fit as a speaker for any organization, but particularly for the insurance industry, given his background as a member of MDRT. I would highly recommend Scott as a speaker to anyone.

I recently had the opportunity to be in the audience where Scott Burrows was one of our conference speakers. Not only was his presentation heart warming, inspiring and motivational, but a learning experience as well.
I took away from his presentation this: If you "get fully into the moment" of whatever experiences you may be facing, you can change the way you view that situation. You can see it as a chance to learn from the situation. You can become grateful for being able to find your inner strength, to learn a new skill set, to find confidence in being a survivor or an achiever…

Scott, Overwhelmingly the folks that I spoke with at both conferences found your presentation not only motivational, but it also helped to create an urgency or passion for them. Whether it be around business or personal issues, your story helps them to take action and pursue the things the things that are important to each individual. I felt you were able to share your fascinating story and uniquely relate to the audience. Your background and experiences with selling life insurance was a perfect fit to our agenda and provided even more relevance to the group. Thanks for joining us and I wish you much success. If there is ever something I can help with, please let me know. Brad Sorensen, VP

Dear Scott:
It was my extreme pleasure to visit with you during our recent Pacific Northwest Grains Conference in Portland, Oregon. Your positive attitude towards life and charismatic personality were contagious. I know I speak for every one of our conference attendees when I say, “You are a phenomenal presenter and outstanding individual.” It will be my sincere privilege to recommend you to my colleagues in the wheat industry and throughout the meeting planning circuit.
Thank you for turning adversity into triumph and sharing your story with my wheat and barley producers. They were truly inspired by your personal challenges and I heard many of the growers reference your speech throughout the balance of the conference.
Best wishes in all of your endeavors,

Scott Burrows can move a room! Scott spoke to my market area during our Kick Off Meeting for 2007. Scott's message of Vision, Mindset and Grit was a hit among the group of 275 participants. Scott's approach was very consistent with what my group is accustomed to. I was also impressed how Scott came into the pre-event dinner the night before and mingled with many of the guests. By spending time with my group, Scott gained a better understanding of their everyday world. Many of the participants thought Scott was one of them!
Scott also did a very good job researching my company. He mixed company messages provided before the meeting into his presentation. I was impressed that he was able to speak our language without notes. I had and continue to have meeting participants write me notes, e-mails and letters about the motivating message Scott delivered.
Scott is very easy to work with and I enjoyed getting to know him. I've been going to kick off meetings for nearly 15 years and I have to say Scott's presentation was one of the most motivating messages I've been a part of at a meeting.
I plan to use Scott again and appreciate who he is and what he has to share! The world is a better place having a Scott Burrows around!!

I felt the need to write to you after your presentation to our sales force last evening. Your story is truly incredible and inspiring. I must have had two dozen sales reps come to me this morning and say how wonderful our meeting was last night. It is easy to fall into complacency in Las Vegas in the summer. The fact that you overcame seemingly overwhelming odds in your life inspires us to live each day as if it were our last. Our obstacles appear minimal compared to yours, so why don't we give it all we have everyday?!!! If any of our US Foodservice peers have not seen your presentation, then I highly recommend that they do. You are a gentleman and an inspiration!!! Thank you for telling us your story. Continued success and happiness... Norm Wenzl, Vice President of Sales - U.S. Foodservice, Las Vegas Division

My name is Mike Bell and I had the honor to listen to your remarkable story this morning at our US Tampa sales meeting. Your story touched me in a way that I really am having a hard time putting into words. I arrived this morning feeling somewhat "burned out" and looking for some balance with regard to my professional life and my personal life. Being where I am with the company and attending many trips and seeing many motivational speakers, nothing has made an impression on me until today. Being the top sales professional is just as important to me as earning the most money. I will never forget you and the feeling I had this morning, I had chills listening to your genuine passion for life! You re-energized me today and it could not have come at a better time.
God Bless, and Thank You !!
