Adult Day Care is ideal for seniors and special needs adults who are unable to be monitored during the day by a primary caregiver or simply need daily interaction in a safe, social group setting. In addition to activity time, adult day care facilities offer meal plans and transportation.Adult Day Care is an excellent alternative to help relieve caregivers from the demanding responsibilities of caregiving during the day – with their loved-ones in a safe and nurturing environment.
The cost for adult day care is covered as part of Medicaid and some Medicare plans. Private pay service is available for those that do not qualify under Medicaid or Medicare. All clients may be eligible to participate in CACFP on a non-discriminating basis.
