The contract managers provide members with desired services for legal, competitively-bid contracts through the Choice Facility Partners purchasing cooperative. The contract managers will play a vital role in managing the contracts for the purchasing cooperative. Managers seek out what governmental entities need in facility management. From there, they research to determine the market standard and to understand what is offered under that product or service. Then the purchasing cooperative issues a Request For Proposal to solicit bids from companies wanting to be a CFP vendor partner. An evaluation team then determines which responses meet the standard and should be recommended to be awarded. Harris County Department of Education then awards contracts.
