Job Order Contracting is one of the legal construction method that allows governmental entities to access construction contracts already legally and competitively bid by Choice Facility Partners. In addition to using the R.S. Means price book, the awarded partner contracts include a local city cost index and bid coefficient. Because of this, it is unnecessary and inappropriate for school districts or other governmental entities to request Choice Facility Partners Job Order Contract awarded partners to bid again on individual delivery orders. Once the entity has signed an interlocal agreement, the city, county, school district, or college/university may access the contracts.
Using Choice Facility Partners Job Order Contracts also provides some additional benefits, including contract management and auditing by knowledgeable staff who have a facilities/engineering and construction management background.
