New Lead Maverick Client, Mr. Jim's Pizza

I was reviewing our Directory RSS feed and noticed that we have a new customer, Mr. Jim's Pizza.  This strikes a special place in my heart as Mr. Jim's was my first job.

I remember my parents giving me some great advice, "you better start making your own money and stop spending ours."  With that wonderful wisdom I made my way into the workforce way back in 1987.

My mom drove me to the Mr. Jim's Pizza located in Carrolton, Texas.  I walked in, scared to death, and spoke to the owner.  He gave me an application, I walked out to the car and had my mom help me fill it out.  I walked back in, he saw I was a complete moron and hired me on the spot.

I really learned a great deal at Mr. Jims.  I started as a pizza maker, made my way to manager (only without the title of "manager"...saved the owner money), then to delivery driver.

My last day at Mr. Jim's was late in 1990 when my record keeping position at the insurance company  was demanding too much of my time.

Mr. Jim's was a great place to start my long life of getting abused by the man and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
