WHO IS THAT 12 YEAR OLD ON THE BILLBOARD? AND WHAT IS THIS BLOG FOR?

Does anyone think their 6th grade class photo will come back to haunt them?  That's what you see on the billboard ... and frankly, I haven't aged an iota so we just went with that.

The Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial is boldly taking a step where no other PGA Tour event has gone before.  I'm creating a blog specifically for this golf tournament.  I'll be giving you player interviews, behind-the-scenes information ... and while at times, I'll be breaking news, this site is mostly fun.

Golf has a way of feeling exclusive but PGA Tour events can be an absolutely fantastic way to spend a weekend.  It's not nearly as stuffy as you might think and few professional sports allow you to stand within a few feet from a professional player.

So check back often ... I'll see if I can't find a picture from 9th grade.  You know, a little acne, hair gone bad, teeth growing in every direction.  And I'll also be adding alot more content as we move toward Memorial Day weekend and the Colonial.
