The always humble Billy Mayfair led the group of TCU hotshots through the course Wednesday afternoon. One member of the Horned Frog foursome included head football coach Gary Patterson who made sure no autograph was left unsigned. Mayfair did the same, keeping a cheery and upbeat attitude on the greens.
We asked Coach Patterson what he thought about his performance and he replied, "I don't know if I'm playing any good, but I sure am having a good time."
On a day like the Pro-Am, the pressures of the tournament look like they have not yet sunk in giving the golfers an afternoon to enjoy before the true test of the Colonial begins.
