The 13th hole at Colonial can be seen as the party hole.
It is a 180 yard par 3, with a water hazard, an arena of bleachers and an electronic scoreboard. The board gives the standard information about the hole and the leaderboard, but as an added bonus, the scoreboard gives fun facts about each golfer playing through.
For instance, Olin Browne didn't start playing golf until he picked up the game in college when he was 19... who knew?
So keep the adage alive and learn something new every day.
