Day 3: He's a Boy, He's a Fan ... He's a Hero

I was standing at the 10th tee box ... Alex Cejka was preparing to tee off when I saw his caddy hand a little guy a golf ball.

After the golfers left for the fairway, I tapped the lucky recipient on the shoulder.  Turns out, Kaleb is from Witchita Falls and is a recent visitor to Cook's Children's Hospital.  His last visit was in February for chemo ... it's cancer of the bone.

Kaleb proudly showed off a scar on his leg that goes from his thigh down to his shin.  Hear me now, believe me later ... Kaleb is 100% adorable, and if you have any thoughts of a future boyfriend, better take a number now.

Turns out, they got to meet Alex Cejka on Monday and they were following his round that day.

The great news is that Kaleb gets a check up once a month and the prognosis is good.  He's doing well and looks terrific.  Getting to meet him and ask a few questions made my week ...  I attached a photo of Kaleb near the practice green ...
