That's A Wrap ... Final Thank You's from the 2008 Colonial

Posted by Colonial Golf Girl in Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX on May 25, 2008

This blog was a first for the Colonial ... and it was a first for me.

To everyone who took the time to read the blog, thank you.  So many of you took a moment to let me know how much you enjoyed reading it.  I can't tell you how much appreciated that.

I was not alone ... so a huge thank you to the three interns who added so much.  Thank you to Mary, Marcus and Paul.  They are apparently forming a singing trio now that the Colonial has ended.  Look for their CD to hit the stores in October.

Thank you to the PGA Tour for helping with information and player interviews.

Thank you to the volunteers and committee members who got me where I needed to go, fed me (no small task), and somehow became my personal office supply.

Thank you to Peter Ripa, Tournament Director, for always being available, kind, patient and supportive.

And of course, thank you to Susan Nix who tirelessly walked me around the tournament, introduced me to everyone and their son, told me I looked great even after my face had melted off,  and offered every ounce of support for everything I thought of.

I hope to be back next year ... but I've been informed that we may have to change the name of the blog ... apparently, the sun took its toll and we may have to call the blog:  colonialgolfcougar.com

Thanks again to everyone,

Kelly
