Day 3: Take Cover ... It's a Lightning Rod

After bogeying 16 and 17 ... Rod Pampling birdied 18 to move into a tie for second place at (-11) under par ... just one shot behind leader Phil Mickelson.

"It was definitely a good way to finish" said Pampling.  He matched the heat of the day with a scorching 63 ... the best round of the day ... and only two shots shy of the course record.

 
And on the possibility of being paired with Phil Mickelson on Sunday?  "My record against Phil is pretty good... I've played well against him in the past and scored well when I play with him."
