RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    The IT Audit Director will establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with key members of IT business unit and (as applicable) business teams.
•    As Audit Director, develop an IT audit strategy that will develop the services and capabilities of IT auditors and the audit department in helping management accomplish objectives.
•    Develop an IT audit risk assessment and audit plan to assist in defining IT audit and Audit Department goals and objectives.
•    The IT Audit Director oversees the execution of IT audit projects and other work performed by IT audit staff and / or consultants.
•    Analyze and modify current processes to improve client response time, service quality, risk mitigation, and audit-generated cost savings/avoidance.
•    The IT Audit Director will prepare audit reports and provide review and edits to staff; as well as, draft audit reports (and other correspondences) to ensure clarity, conciseness and comprehensibility.  Ensure that audit reports clearly communicate the risks and key audit issues from a Senior Management and Audit Committee perrspective.
•    Maintain knowledge of “best industry practices” and, as Audit Director, recommend innovative changes and software tools.

REQUIREMENTS:
•    The successful IT Audit Director candidate will have the ability to lead the development of staff objectives, provide insight and guidance to establish benchmarks and output, follow up on a regular basis to assure objectives are met, and coach staff to maximize performance.
•    Ability to prioritize tasks and oversee multiple projects.
•    Ten+ years of internal/external audit experience with a strong emphasis in Information Systems/Information Technology.
•    A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
•    MBA, CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent IT credentials are preferred.
