Director of Compliance & Legal

We are representing a publicly-traded
company that is experiencing explosive growth and is about to launch a
new drug that will generate $1BB in revenue.
Responsibilities of Director of Compliance & Legal:
- Provide leadership in the development and execution of an effective
and comprehensive compliance program, including policies, procedures
and systems that support compliance with all healthcare compliance laws
(including Anti-Kickback, FDA, PDMA, price reporting, patient privacy,
and state reporting requirements);
- Assist with the identification and investigation of compliance matters that require follow-up or investigation;
- Work closely with other departments, including Commercial
Operations, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Clinical Operations, and
Finance, to ensure continued adherence to compliance policies and
procedures;
- Participate in the continued development of an effective training
and education program on compliance-related topics, policies and
procedures for all company employees.
Requirements of Director of Compliance & Legal:
- JD required.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a biotech / pharmaceutical company and/or law firm.
- Some experience with healthcare compliance issues like: Anti-Kickback, FDA, OIG guidelines.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of Legal/Compliance matters.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
Relocation: Relocation provided.
