Angela Fifelski Named Associate General Counsel at Baxter International

Deerfield, IL -- Conselium has announced the completion of another executive search, helping to place Angela Fifelski as the new Associate General Counsel at Baxter International, Inc.
Conselium, an executive search firm, has just completed a search for an Associate General Counsel in Deerfield, IL on behalf of Baxter International Inc.  Ms. Angela Fifelski began her role of Associate General Counsel 7/27/09.  Ms. Fifelski will be responsible for:

  • Guidance in the areas of Medicare fraud and abuse, privacy, security and HIPPA compliance
  • Manage outside counsel’s involvement in fraud and abuse, privacy and advertising legal matters
  • Communicate with the Department of HHS’s OIG in compliance and other matters
  • Provide training for Baxter employees in the areas of fraud & abuse, security, privacy and advertising & promotion

Ms. Fifelski was previously Compliance Counsel at Zimmer, Inc.  Ms. Fifelski’s previous professional position was that of Intellectual Property Attorney at Ice Miller.  Ms. Fifelski obtained her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University, Detroit College of Law.
