Troy Morgan Named Director of Compliance at Biogen Idec Inc.

Cambridge, MA -- Conselium has announced the completion of an executive search on behalf of Biogen Idec Inc. Biogen has named Mr. Troy Morgan its new Director of Compliance, effective October 5, 2009.
Conselium, an executive search firm, has just completed a search for a Director of  Compliance in Cambridge, MA on behalf of Biogen Idec Inc.  Mr. Troy Morgan will begin his role of Director of Compliance October 5, 2009. 

Mr. Morgan will be responsible for:

  • Development and execution of R&D policies, SOPs, guidance, etc. based on prioritized needs in coordination with Global Compliance and other functions
  • Acting as the point of contact for R&D on all compliance-related issues
  • Identifying priority areas for the development and implementation of an international, risk-based compliance monitoring and auditing program R&D
  • Leading the development, communication and implementation of all R&D policies and SOPs

Mr. Morgan was previously Global Ethics & Compliance Counsel for GE Healthcare.  Mr.  Morgan’s previous professional positions include VP of Legal Programs at Consolidated Legal Concepts, and Litigation Partner at Holloway & Elliott, LLC.  Mr. Morgan obtained his Jurist Doctor from Faulkner University’s Jones School of Law.
