Ms. Kristin Yang will begin her role of Ethics & Compliance Counsel on October 12, 2009. Ms. Yang will be responsible for:
* Providing compliance counseling and addressing enquiries to internal Business Units from compliance prospective
* Supporting the Director to deal with compliance project implementation and procedures and policies to prevent and detect conduct inconsistent with the company’s policy & law
* Supporting the Director to drive awareness and the importance of compliance across the region and identify areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and undertake corrective plans to resolve the issues
* Supporting the Director to provide compliance training programs to meet the needs of the region
* Ensuring that ethics and compliance issues and concerns within the region are being raised and appropriately evaluated, investigated, resolved
* Collaborating with cross functional teams, including representatives for functions, including but not limited to legal, HR, internal audit, finance on the training approach, risk based approach and plan for the trainings
Ms. Yang was previously General Counsel for Carestream Health’s Greater China Region. Her previous professional positions include Legal Counsel at Eli Lilly, Attorney at Lehman Lee & Xu, and Attorney at King & Wood.
Ms. Yang is a graduate of East China University of Politics and Law and Ningxia University.
