Conselium Announces Placement of IT Audit Director at Centex Corporation in Dallas, Texas.
Conselium, an executive search firm, has just completed a search for an IT Audit Director on behalf of Centex Corporation in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Eric Moriak will join Centex as IT Audit Director on August 18, 2008.
Mr. Moriak will be responsible for creating an IT Audit Department that was previously outsourced. His responsibilities will include:
• Establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with key members of Business unit IT and business teams.
• Developing an IT audit strategy that will expand the services and capabilities of IT auditors and the audit department in helping management accomplish objectives.
• Developing an IT audit risk assessment and audit plan to assist in defining IT audit and Audit Department goals and objectives.
• Overseeing the execution of IT audit projects and other work performed by IT audit staff and / or consultants.
• Analyzing and modifying current processes to improve client response time, service quality, and risk mitigation and audit generated cost savings/avoidance.
• Preparing audit reports and providing review and edits to staff draft audit reports.
Mr. Moriak was previously IT Audit Director at Flowserve Corporation in Irving, Texas. Previous experiences included working for EDS Corporation and Mobil Oil. Mr. Moriak is actively involved in the professional associations of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. His professional designations include: CIA, CISA, CISM and CISSP.
