Mr. Rekhi is a leading, highly respected entrepreneur, both as a venture capitalist and angel investor. He founded Excelan, one of the earliest networking companies, which was later sold to Novell, and is the founding president of The Entrepreneur (TiE) Group. As a venture angel, he was instrumental in the successful launching of Exodus Communications. Forbes magazine called him 'the dominant investor in and sage to Silicon Valley's affluent Indian community'; the magazine also highlighted his funding of more than 15 companies started by Indian immigrants. Mr. Rekhi is currently involved at the board level in many companies including 123signup.com, Instantis, Mediaway, Sierra Atlantic, and Versata.
