On the other side of the building, away from the hubbub of salon activity is the quiet and serene Spa Pangéa, hidden away behind a 15-foot waterfall. Spa Pangéa offers treatments derived from various traditions of international culture, normally found only at luxury destination and resort spas. Owner, Daired Ogle wanted to combine ancient disciplines, time-honored methodologies and cutting-edge technology to result in some of the finest quality facials, massage therapies and treatments available. Daireds concept of providing cultural treatments is summed up in the name Spa Pangéa. “With everything we offer – all of our treatments coming from different cultures around the world - we named the spa after the Pangéa Period…a time when the world was one land mass,” Ogle said. Package and stand-alone treatments include luxurious facials, wraps, scrubs, massages, manicures, pedicures, hydrotherapy baths, Vichy rain showers and Shirodara Therapy.
The Med Spa at Daireds offers laser skin rejuvenation and laser hair reduction, as well microdermabrasion and dermal fillers such as Botox, Resytlane, Radiessee and Perlane.
In addition to the full-service Salon and Spa Pangéa, the facility also offers a Conference Centre for companies to hold brainstorming sessions after pampering their workers with herbal wraps and sugar scrubs; or for brides-to-be and her closest companions to celebrate with bridal showers and a full day of luxurious spa relaxation. Secluded on the top floor of the spa, the Conference Centre provides a relaxed and inventive atmosphere unlike any other meeting site available in the area, an ideal springboard according to Ogle, for creating enthusiasm and encouraging openness to ideas within a business and social context. “Our emphasis is on providing individuals and corporations the tools to create an experience from a single location that attendees and guests will not soon forget,” Ogle said. “This lets you move away from the sometimes stuffy, formal and often mundane atmosphere normally available for corporate meetings.” Booked as daylong seminar/retreat combined with a spa experience, or independently as a meeting room, the facility offers endless possibilities.
Daireds also provides a café that serves up light fare for spa guests, catered events and the general public.
