Memorial Day in the Gardens | The Dallas Arboretum

Memorial Day in the gardens is always one to remember at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.

Visitors are invited to come out Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th to celebrate with your family at the annual Memorial Day Family Picnic.  Pack your picnic for Memorial Day and bring your kids to enjoy Eddie Coker on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage at 11 am and 2 pm. 

The Memorial Day Dallas Arboretum concert is free with garden admission.

Children will enjoy various activities planned throughout the day including:

    * Photos by James French Photos ($15)
    * Face painting - (10 am - 1 pm)
    * Petting zoo
    * Arts and Crafts

Dallas Arboretum Afternoon Tea service continues during Memorial Day at the DeGolyer Garden Cafe until May 29th and takes place daily at 11am and 2pm. The tea is served with a light lunch; which includes a soup, tea sandwiches and dessert. The cost is $35.00 per person, which includes admission to the garden, parking and a gratuity for the server.  Reservations can be made by calling (214)-515- 6610.

Hours: The family friendly Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is open to the public year-round 9am to 5pm except for Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.

General Admission: Adults, $9.50. Seniors 65 and over, $8. Children ages 3-12, $6. Children 2 and under, free. On-site parking, $5.

Rental: Both the DeGolyer Home, the Camp House and Rosine Hall are available for events and rental.  In addition, we have 11 unique garden sites that may be rented for weddings or other events.
