The Dallas Arboretum brings a touch of Dallas nature right into your student classroom lessons.
Dallas Arboretum
Teachers and/or faculty select a outreach program lesson from our list of choices and we will come to your classroom with a fun, hands-on science program correlated to the state science requirements.

Each Dallas Arboretum Classroom Lesson program is 30 – 45 minutes with a minimum of four student class bookings per school. All activities and materials for a class of up to 30 students are provided. Please call for scheduling information.

Scholarships are available for this student outreach program.


Pre-K – 6th grades; $50 per class.
