Easter Weekend | April 10th - April 12th | The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens

This Easter weekend you can figuratively put all your eggs in one basket and spend the day at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.  Family and friends can celebrate the beautiful Easter weekend and holiday as well as the Dallas Blooms festival presented by Chase, by surrounding themselves with over 450,000 spring blooming bulbs as well as enjoying family fun and family friendly events.

This year's Dallas Blooms theme is 'It's A Classic',  serves as a reminder to guests that Dallas Blooms celebrate's its 25th Anniversary of Dallas Blooms this year.  The theme is interpreted throughout the garden in activities and a 13th Anniversary cake topiary.

Family Friendly Easter Weekend Happening at Dallas Arboretum:
Friday, April 10th 11:00 am & 2:00pm
Eddie Coker Childrens' Concert will land on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage.  
 
Saturday and Sunday, April 11th & 12th
Petting Zoo
(Sat. 12:00-4:00pm)
(Sun 1:00-4:00pm)

Silhoutte Artist ($5 each)
(11:00 am- 3:00 pm)  
   
James French Live Easter Bunny Photos ($15 each)
(Sat. 12-4:00pm & Sun.1-4:00pm)  
 
The Easter Bunny will also be available this Easter weekend Saturday and Sunday to pose for guests who wish to take their own photos.
   
Other Dallas Blooms 'It's A Classic' Weekend Activities include: Storybook Playhouse Exhibit  - Fourteen lifesized Playhouses based on children's classic stories.  Books and themed related items available in the gift shop. Music on the DeGolyer Loggia (11 am - 2 pm) Garden Gallery Exhibition in the DeGolyer Estate And much, much more!

General Visitor information for The Dallas Arboretum
Hours: The family friendly Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is open to the public year-round 9am to 5pm except for Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.

General Admission: Adults, $9.50. Seniors 65 and over, $8. Children ages 3-12, $6. Children 2 and under, free. On-site parking, $5.

Rental: Rental is available for many events and occasions. Including: corporate events, wedding events, Spanish corporate events, wedding ceremony events, wedding receptions and events, reunion events, galas, and engagement parties.
Both the DeGolyer Home, the Camp House and Rosine Hall are available for events and rental.  In addition, we have 11 unique garden sites that may be rented for weddings or other events.

Food Service: Food service and tea service is available outside at the Lula Mae Slaughter Dining Terrace and inside at Degolyer Garden Cafe year round.
