Cancer Could Be World’s Top Killer By 2010 Love Hope Strength Foundation Already Impacting Developing Nations by Providing Cancer Centers Around the Globe

Dallas, Texas – The World Health Organization released a report on Tuesday stating that cancer will overtake heart disease as the world’s top killer by 2010, part of a trend that should more than double global cancer cases and deaths by 2030.  Cancer diagnoses around the world have steadily been rising and are expected to hit 12 million this year. Global cancer deaths are expected to reach 7 million.

Dallas-based James Chippendale, a leukemia survivor, is co-founder of Love Hope Strength Foundation, a rock n’ roll charity founded in 2006 that raises funds and awareness for international cancer centers and networks through music-related events and promotions.  The foundation has already set-up funding in Nepal, Peru, and Wales and has an ambitious program to launch in Kenya next year.

James, a noted speaker for the Leukemia and Bone Marrow Foundations Worldwide, is available for interviews.  Suggested topics include:

·         Problems faced by developing nations concerning cancer detection, research, awareness, and treatment and what the U.S.A. and other countries need to do to combat cancer.

·         Health insurance and cancer – what your audience needs to know.

·         How Love Hope Strength Foundation has made a difference and what your viewers can do NOW to help battle cancer.
