As Partner and Chief Information Officer, Joaquin brings over 25 years of experience in senior-level management of advanced information systems and technology functions with P&L responsibility for corporate policies standards and strategies, in rapidly changing, highly competitive growth environments. His extensive knowledge of object-oriented design methodologies, multiple-tier client/server, WAN/LAN and virtual systems technologies helps his clients to design and implement efficient consumer responses, category product management and commerce-base interactive systems.
Before co-founding GALOSI in 2001, Joaquin held several key positions within Howard Schultz & Associates, servicing over 1,500 Blue chip clients in a multitude of industries across the globe. During his time as the Director of Information Technology- International, Joaquin was responsible for the planning, administration and supervision of the MIS international divisions with a budget of 3 million. His achievements include the restructuring of post audit claims that reduced administrative costs and developed a highly effective international training program for new staff and overseas offices.
Prior to his time with Howard Schultz & Associates, Joaquin maintained several support positions that allowed him to build and refine a solid foundation for managing and implementing highly profitable, effective business strategies.
Since co-founding GALOSI in 2001, Joaquin has helped to lead the company in recovering millions of dollars for Fortune 500 companies in the retail, grocery, distribution and service-based industries.
Joaquin holds a B.S. in Math & Computer Science from University of Illinois-Chicago and is fluent in Spanish.
