Appetite for Love

Eat your heart out

Forget trying to nurture your inner (Julia) child by whipping up a meal for your man this Valentine’s Day. Your soufflé will fall flat compared to the bevy of dining deals to be had this heart-filled holiday. Even if you don’t have a sweetheart to spend the eve with, the deliciousness that awaits may warrant grabbing a guy off of the street. Think Pretty Woman, but this time imagine yourself as Richard Gere instead of Julia Roberts.

Hotel St. Germain

Seating begins at 6:30 p.m.

You’ll be able to scratch gluttony and greed off of your seven deadly sins list after attending this “Garden of Eden” themed decadent seven-course meal (accompanied by candlelight, of course). And hopefully you can check lust off the list by the end of the night, too.

Better lovin’ Thursdays? Buttered lesbian tap shoes? Okay, so maybe you haven’t unraveled the enigmatic anagram of this swanky new eatery. But the v-day menu is easy to decipher – tasty. Make sure to try their signature Passion Chili Margarita.

Dallas Fish Market
February 14, 5:30 - 10 p.m.

In browsing this two-course menu of yummy seafood delights, the item that really popped out was the Pacific Big Eye Tuna Poke. Isn’t it customary to get the poke after you’ve paid for the dinner? Maybe we’re just easy.

His hand-picked, four-course meal includes treats such as King Crab on Jicama, Buffalo Tenderloin and Cheesecake Lollipops.

Live out your Captain Stubing fetish while dining on the The Love Boat ($65), a large wooden boat filled with sushi and sashimi. Other love-themed entrees and a-la-carte items will also be available. But sorry, Cruise Director Julie McCoy won’t be. However, if you drink enough sake maybe the waiter will start to look like Doc. Grrr.
