• SSN Verification (via Credit Headers)
• SSN Validation (via SSA's Master Death Index and SSA's Non-Issued Numbers List)
• Previous address locator (via Credit Headers)
The package is available to current and new GroupOne clients. “This will help streamline the pre-employment process for some of our clients. Background screening for the healthcare industry can be very tedious. The Express Package allows employers to preliminarily onboard some candidates earlier in the process,” noted W. Stephen Love, president of GroupOne Services.
The multi-state criminal search contains over more than 200 million criminal records from state, counties, department of corrections (DOC), administration of the court (AOC) and state sex offender registries covering 49 states and Washington DC, Guam and Puerto Rico. This information is considered public record. All criminal history information reflected should not be
considered a 100% complete and accurate history of any individual. The multi-state criminal search casts the widest net possible in discovering criminal information about an applicant’s past. Combined with a jurisdictional (county) criminal history search, the multi-state search often identifies criminal history records that would never be discovered otherwise because they
may not have lived or worked in the area where the criminal record is located.
Multi-state criminal records are totally dependant upon each state's reporting entities submitting accurate criminal information to the state in a timely manner. However, due to the fact that criminal record reporting does not occur in a timely manner, there may be changes and variations in Statewide or Multi- State criminal record reporting and county criminal record reporting. GroupOne has no control over improper, inaccurate, or untimely reporting to state criminal record repositories.
†GroupOne must rely on primary source information, so when the multi-state sex offender / criminal database contains a “hit” (possible criminal information) GroupOne will go to the county in question for primary source verification. If through further research we are unable to verify that information, that specific issue will not be reported. It will be listed as “no records found”. This additional research required will nullify the 48-hour turnaround and may incur additional fees of
$15.00 per name per county.
