Mr. David Walls is a Senior Portfolio Manager of Par Credit Investments at Highland Capital Management, L.P.
Before joining the Highland Capital team in October 2000, Mr. Walls worked for
Lend Lease Real Estate Investments. At Lend Lease, he worked as an Associate in the Asset
Management unit, structuring and underwriting acquisitions of bulk
portfolios of distressed Korean real estate and corporate debt.
Previous to these international responsibilities at Lend Lease, David Walls performed
loan workouts on a domestic portfolio, mainly focusing on sub- and non-performing real
estate secured assets.
Previous to his position at Lend Lease, Mr. David Walls was employed at the U.S.
Trust Company of California, functioning as an Assistant Vice President and Junior
Portfolio Manager in the Fixed Income Portfolio Management group. Additionally to, Capital Research & Management Company as a Fixed Income Trader.
Mr. Walls has more than 14 years experience in finance for communications sectors such as media, cable and satellite.
At Highland Capital Management, L.P., David Walls is
a Senior Portfolio Manager with oversight of the Cable and Satellite
sectors.
David Walls educational background includes his earning a BA in Economics from Northwestern University, as well as his MBA in Finance and Marketing from The Kellogg School of Management
(at Northwestern University.)
Mr. Walls holds memberships to both AIMR and DAIA and has earned an Chartered Financial Analyst
designation.
