Mr. Ken McGovern serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Highland Capital Management, L.P.
Before joining the Highland Capital Management team in July 2007, Mr. Ken McGovern worked as the Chief Investment Officer for Flagstone Reinsurance Holdings
(NYSE: FSR). Flagstone is a Bermuda-based reinsurance company.
Previous to his role at Flagstone, Mr. Ken McGovern served as Director of Capital Markets for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.
(NYSE: WMT). This is where he started in 1992.
Even before his role in Wal-Mart's Corporate
Finance, Mr. McGovern had duties to care for the financial management
and optimization of a Division.
Previous to his work with Wal-Mart, Mr. McGovern spent eight (8) years
in technology consulting.
Mr. Ken McGovern earned his MA in Mathematical Finance from
Columbia University, and his MS in Industrial Administration from Purdue University. Mr. McGovern also earned his BS from the University of Maryland.
