Objective
The fund seeks to provide a high level of current income, consistent with preservation of capital.

Strategy
The fund seeks to achieve its objective through investment primarily in senior bank loans. These loans have historically had offered interest rates that offer a premium over prevailing market rates, such as the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR), and reset on a regular schedule. The fund may also borrow up to one-third of its total assets to finance long-term investments, obtain short-term liquidity and for temporary or extraordinary purposes.


Highland Floating Rate Fund

Objective
The fund seeks to provide a high level of current income, consistent with preservation of capital.

Strategy
The fund seeks to achieve its objective through investment with at least 80% of its net assets primarily in senior bank loans. Senior loans are business loans that have a senior right to payment to most other debts of the borrower. These loans have historically offered interest rates that offer a premium over prevailing market rates, such as the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR), and reset on a regular schedule.
