Mr. Kurt Plumer is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Multi-Strategies at Highland Capital Management, L.P.
Before joining the Highland Capital team in July 1999, Mr. Kurt Plumer worked as a distressed
High Yield Bond Trader at Lehman Brothers in New York. At Lehman, he managed
a $250 million portfolio, that had investments in global distressed securities.
While at Lehman, Mr. Plumer additionally traded emerging market sovereign bonds. Before joining the Lehman Brothers, Mr. Kurt Plumer worked as a Corporate Finance Banker
at NationsBanc Capital Markets, Inc. (now Bank of America Capital, Inc.).
It was here that Mr. Plumer mainly worked on M&A, as well as financing transactions
for clients of the bank.
Mr. Kurt Plumer stems his business know-how from more than 14 years of experience in high yield, distressed bonds, as well as leveraged loan products.
Mr. Kurt Plumer attended Baylor University where he earned his BBA in Economics and Finance. In addition, Mr. Kurt Plumer also earned an
MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. Mr. Kurt Plumer can use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
