At Highland Capital Management, L.P., Mr. Patrick Daugherty works as Head of Distressed and Special Situations Investing,
and as Senior Portfolio Manager.
Mr. Daugherty's several responsibilities are inclusive of managing
the Distressed Investments Group, as well as co-managing the Private Equity Investments Group.
Mr. Patrick Daugherty has served previously as General Counsel to
Highland. Before joining the Highland Capital team in April 1998, Mr. Patrick
Daugherty worked as the Vice President in the Corporate Finance Group at
Bank of America Capital Markets, Inc. Formerly, this was referred to as NationsBanc Capital Markets, Inc. It was here that Mr. Patrick Daugherty created and structured the leveraged
transactions of Southwestern mid-cap companies.
Previous to working with the Bank of America team, Patrick Daugherty served as an Associate with Baker, Brown, Sharman and Parker, a law firm located in Houston, Texas. It was here that Mr. Daugherty worked with banks and financial institutions towards the liquidation of multiple RTC portfolios.
Patrick Daugherty has more than fifteen (15) years experience working with distressed, corporate and high-yield restructuring. Mr. Daugherty has been
involved in more than 100 re-structurings and has held steering committee
positions in more than 40 bankruptcies.

Mr. Patrick Daughtery is a former board member of Norse Merchant Group, as well as its
affiliates: Ferrimorac Holdings Limited, and also Mariner Health Care, Inc.
Mr. Patrick Daughtery earned his BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as his Juris Doctorate from The University of Houston School of Law.
Mr.
Daugherty’s professional certifications are inclusive of membership to the Texas Bar Association, as well as admittance, as of 1992, to the American Bar Association.
