Paul Kauffman serves as a Senior Trader and Co-Director of Portfolio
Management, at Highland Capital Management, L.P. Previous to joining the Highland Capital team in June 1999, Paul Kauffman spent four (4) years working in public accounting, which is inclusive of two and a half years with KPMG Peat Marwick.
While at KPMG, Mr. Paul Kauffman
gained extensive audit knowledge in various industries. It was with KPMG that Mr. Kauffman focused on the Energy and Cable industries.
Paul Kauffman joined Highland Capital as a
Portfolio Analyst, and was a Portfolio Manager before transferring to his current position. While with Highland, Mr. Kauffman has followed a wide range of industries,

- Paper and Packaging
- Various Metals
- Automotives
Able to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, Paul Kauffman earned his BBA in Accounting from Baylor, as well as attended Duke University, where he earned his MBA.
