Meridian Data Launches New Hosting Service
December 1, 2003
OKLAHOMA CITY, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Meridian Data
Systems, an information technology and consulting firm, has announced
the launch of a new Web site hosting service, Hosts of America,
available at www.hostsofamerica.com . Hosts of America is a full
service Web-hosting site designed to serve two separate markets. It
provides hosting capabilities to business resellers and direct Web
site hosting to end-users.
Hosts of America was founded by
Kurt Vanderwater and Pat Shaughnessy of Meridian Data Systems in
Oklahoma City. The Meridian team has over 150 years of combined
experience in the information technology industry. Their goal was to
create a hosting data center that, unlike the typical hosting
service, would be a user-friendly, comprehensive solution to
accommodate web service resellers and end users.
According to
Sue Vanderwater, CEO of Meridian Data Systems, "We are so
thrilled to be able to launch this site. The team has worked
diligently to create an all-inclusive, easy-to-use, secure Web site hosting service. Our customer service team is geared up and ready to
guide users through the entire process of becoming a reseller or
affiliate of Hosts of America. We have added many new features in
order to brand these processes to our target market and make all the
components of hosting and maintaining web services very simple for
both our resellers and end-users."
Hosts of America
provides Web site hosting capabilities to a variety of company
resellers, including advertising agencies, business management,
communication and marketing consultants, computer software and Web
site designers, and Internet service providers. After purchasing
Hosts of America's services, these businesses are able to add Web
site hosting to their business portfolio and resell it to their
customer base.
Hosts of America offers server co-location,
dedicated servers, Web site development, database development and all
other Web-related services. Hosts of America is monitored 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week and has a fully redundant data center with
multiple backup capabilities.
