BUD LIGHT TO CROWN ULTIMATE TAILGATER FAN-Huddle Productions, Jim Knox & Chris Yates-Gameday Rivals

Posted by Huddle Productions in Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX on Sep 03, 2008

TV vets and Huddle Productions', Jim Knox and Chris Yates clink steins with BUD LIGHT in the quest to find the Ultimate Tailgater. Streaming video segments from TV show will feature the biggest game of the week in the Big 12 South with player, coach and fan interviews.
Man O Man- life is indeed good! First of all it’s football season and secondly, it’s football season. That means bbq, beer, temper tantrums, body paint, cheesy grins and camaraderie between strangers that could change the world (were it not all pointedly focused on the tiny skin of pig and the tightly trousered teams that shuffle it inches upon glorious inches).
BUT FOR REAL- Football’s here! It’s fun and it adds good-hearted fodder to the water cooler chinwag. Where else are Champion and Underdog equally loved (sorry#’s 2-118)??  And you’re not going to hear better smack about it all than in the parking lot before the game.

These are The Tailgaters

For kicks I looked up ‘tailgater’ in the encyclopedia (just to see how far our society has crumbled). Thankfully it only references tailgating in the please-pull-into-my-back-seat-and-help-me-with-the-next-turn, way. Hysterically, for our purposes here, it warns, “Tailgating can also occur because of a lack of perceived risk in so doing.” How fabulous is that?? I mean, seriously- when you’re talking football and all the pre-pre-pre-game and the game-game-game festivities don’t you just know the next morning is filled with a certain remorse due to ‘a lack of perceived risk in so doin’?? Oh, that’s just rich!

But in the spirit of all that is fun and good humored and, at the core, family friendly, BUD LIGHT has begun a crusade in search of The Ultimate Tailgater.
With the creation of In Search of the 2008 Bud Light Tailgater, Huddle Productions has launched The Gameday Rivals. Each week fans will compete for a chance to be crowned THE ULTIMATE TAILGATER. With roving reporter skills in tow, the unique and crazy and most fun fans will be hunted and exploited for full-fun impact!

The Gameday Rivals is entirely interactive and will showcase the biggest game of the week in the Big 12 South with player, coach and fan interviews.

Huddle Productions is: Chris Yates- having worked for EVERY MAJOR TELEVISION NETWORK he is either really wishy-washy or his 3 time EMMY award, Associated Press and Katie Awards further add merit to, and support his 20 years in TV broadcasting.

If Yates is the Huddle beauty, then Jim Knox is the Huddle brain! As founder and president of Huddle Productions, Jim brings his mad skill as Fox Sports’ Big 12 Football Sideline Reporter. He has FOUR EMMY’s and is a 3 time Associated Press Sportscaster of the Year recipient.
