31st Annual Dallas Guitar Festival Coming in April

The 31st Annual Dallas Guitar Festival will be held April 18,19, and 20, at Market Hall
in Dallas, Texas.  The owner and promoter Jimmy Wallace of jimmywallaceguitars.com,
says that this years event is posed to be the biggest and most exciting show ever. Literally
thousands of rare and collectible vintage guitars will be displayed by the various collector
and dealers from around the world. In the jimmywallaceguitars.com booth alone, will be
examples of the les paul guitar dating back to  the early 50's. An actual 1959 Les Paul
sunburst will be displayed. Early  fender guitars to found at at the jimmy wallace booth 
will include a 1957 stratocaster, that has been featured in  a popular video clip available
on YouTube which illustrates the sought after vintage tone of the early guitars.

A literal sea of such guitars will be on display and available for purchase within
the five hundred, or so,  dealer booths. Every major (and most minor) brands will
be present. and offered in the actual chronological sequences that constitute
historical representation.

Guitars will not be the only attraction at this years festival. Two outdoor stages will
host continual musical performance by international acclaimed artists. Included in
the lineup is Johnny Hiland, Rick Derringer, Johnny A, Andy Timmons, Jimmy Wallace,
The Kentucky Headhunters, Jim Suhler, Blackstone Cherry, Paul Reed Smith, Rhett
Butler,  point blank band  and many others. Shows will be contiguous as the festival

Additionally, there will be presentations, demonstrations and open forums throughout
the run of the show.

Major manufactures of guitars, amplifiers and  related musical equipment will also
be displaying and demonstrating their products. Among those represented will be
Gibson,  fender , Gretsch, Peavey, Marshall, and a host of others. One very popular
new product is the guitar line from  james tyler  guitars of Van Nuys, California.

have guitars available to see and try out at the show. These guitars are known for

Of the two outdoor stages  - one will be sponsored by Fender Musical Instruments
and the other by Peavy. The stages are to be large outdoor performance platforms
and will be equipped with professional lighting and sound. Performances will be
running simultaneously on both stages from the opening bell - till after show closing
on Friday night, with performances proceeding into the night. The All-Star jam
and guitar show party will be held Saturday night after show closing on the outdoor
stage and  associated areas. During the day, many of the performing artists will be
in booths or visiting the show floor.

There will also be scores of booths exhibiting and selling all sorts of memorabilia.
With rock and roll as the usual theme, albums, clothing, print material, odd
instruments and other collectible items will be offered.

With thousands and thousands of guitars, both old and new, and hour after hour of incredible
guitar playing performances and musical shows, this years Dallas International guitar festival
is shaping up to be a record-breaking event, with something to offer almost every music fan.
