The second and third listing having nothing to do with the AAF in Texas, indicating that many sites in the District 10 of AAF do a poor job in promoting their AAF Affiliation.

Search engines have become the defacto gateway to all information online with over 7 billion searches conducted per month, 64% of businesses using a search engine for research and 91% of internet users using a search engine.

Many people use a search engine to find your organization even if they don't "know your organization". Primarily they look for events, educational information, profiles of people/businesses, and news about your industry, solution or organization.

There are three rules to consider in creating information for search engines. The first rule is to give search engines great content that is unique, frequently updated, can be trusted, and relevant.

Any content created for search engines should be FOCUSED. Make sure it includes industry terms, common phrases, is specific to an industry, and local to your market.

Once the content is created, make sure it includes clear calls to action. The interface should have less clutter with all calls to action obvious. The design and layout of the content should be simple and quickly digested by the reader.

Creating websites with rich content does not need to be hard. First, aggregate or create press releases for the industry. Next create lists of companies or other resources for the industry, third, identify and link to bloggers within your industry and finally incorporate RSS feeds into your site.
