Overview
High-end landscape and irrigation installation and maintenance company, Southern Botanical, challenged Ecordia partner Practical Advertising to help them appear in search results and to make the phone ring. Practical Advertising planned and executed an Ecordia campaign that has taken Southern Botanical to the top of SERPs, made the phone ring and increased sales 20-25%.

Problem Encountered
Ecordia Reseller Partner Practical Advertising was hired by Southern Botanical - aPractical Advertising high-end landscape and irrigation installation and maintenance company - to promote its newly formed interior plant division. Practical Advertising was challenged to find new clients in the DFW Metroplex without cannibalizing the company’s existing outdoor accounts. The long-term objectives of the campaign were:

  • To make the phone ring.
  • To appear in search results for keywords other than "Southern Botanical."

Our Solution
Practical Advertising set up an Ecordia account for Southern Botanical and conducted keyword research. Four  keyword phrases were identified:Lead Maverick Landing Page

  • interior plants and flowers
  • interior foliage and home décor
  • interior plant maintenance hotels
  • building managers and office plants
Practical Advertising developed content optimized for the keyword phrases and posted to Ecordia landing pages at the rate of one page per week over 29 weeks. During the campaign, Practical Advertising added new keyword combinations based on Ecordia tracking statistics and ongoing keyword research.

Results
Ecordia has proven very successful at achieving the campaign objectives, specifically:

  • Southern Botanical’s Ecordia landing pages rank in the top 10 of Google results for most keyword combinations.
  • Ecordia has generated direct calls from building managers, hotels, and residential prospects and more importantly, has converted leads to sales.
  • Southern Botanical has seen a 20-25% increase in business as a result of using Ecordia.
  • Southern Botanical’s website has climbed in rankings with the help of linkage from the highly optimized Ecordia platform.
  • The Ecordia campaign has been extended with weekly content postings continuing.
