Does Lead Maverick actually work?  This is a good question to consider of any product that promises to drive leads or referrals to your website. First, let us review the implied data and second we can review success stories from users of our search engine marketing tool.

In reviewing the View/Click and Lead counts from our database of users, it would appear that the content posted within Lead Maverick is getting traffic. On average, view/click ratios are over 2% for customers with more than 5 pieces of content. Second, about 1% of our users receive some form of Contact Request from visitors clicking the "Contact Us" form on the Lead Maverick site.

Of the three contact methods that we have within our search marketing tool, we only capture data on clicks and contacts. The third option, telephone, is not tracked. For this, we rely on our user feedback.

Two stories come to mind because both revolve around the issue of wrong telephone numbers. The first is a story from Sterling Brokerage. The owner called us frantic to change his telephone number within the search engine tool. The reason, he had a lead that told him that his telephone number was wrong on his Lead Maverick search content. The second story is from an indivdual who's number was added to the content of a customer by mistake. This person called us to complain about the number of calls he had been recieving from the company that posted the content within Lead Maverick.

From our data and stories we have received, it would appear that Lead Maverick does work. Below are a few of the factors that we have found that help our customer succeed in using our tool for search engine marketing.
  1. The more content you add, the better. The reason, search engines loves new and unique content. The more you add about your businesses that is NOT already online, the better.
  2. Write for the customer, not for the engine. Consumers today are very jaded by "marketing speak" and generally dismiss the overt sales language found on most websites. By putting honest information within Lead Maverick, you help remove some of the skeptisism about your company.
  3. Phone numbers are very important. Make sure you have the right phone number and that your brief company description is on target.
  4. Use search keywords with hyperlinks to your website. When writing your content, make sure that you include a few search keywords as hyperlinks to your website. Search engines value these types of links.
As I tell all of our customers, you must write well to rank well! So the more content you can put online with relevant and meaningful information, the greater your chance of success in search engine marketing.
