Dallas Strategic Marketing Firm Helps with Marketing Clean Up

Posted by MarketingMeasure in Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX on Jan 24, 2009

What do mops and marketing have in common?  More than you think, especially when it comes to the solid and ongoing relationship between a Dallas strategic marketing firm and cleaning company affiliated with a nationwide organization that provides heartfelt services to cancer patients.

MarketingMeasure’s relationship with Buckets and Bows maid service company in Lewisville involves a long-term strategic marketing plan to grow the cleaning company’s revenues exponentially, but also to expand the outreach and impact of the non-profit Cleaning for a Reason. Cleaning for a Reason’s founder, Debbie Sardone, is also owner and president of Buckets and Bows.

“The marketing efforts of any organization or company benefits greatly by participating in some type of community outreach,” says Phillip Crum, owner of MarketingMeasure in Dallas.  With this in mind, the vision for Cleaning for a Reason blossomed from the simple but generous act of cleaning a customer’s home for free when she learned that the customer was undergoing treatment for breast cancer.  “I wanted to help her in some way, and I thought the free cleanings would bring my customer and her family at least a small amount of relief from what they were going through,” says Mrs. Sardone.

The Cleaning For A Reason foundation offers four free cleanings, one per month for four months, to cancer patients who are undergoing treatment and provide verification from their physician.

The foundation continues to receive recognition and funding from donors; and in 2008, the money was squeaky-clean. The elite Soap and Detergent Association, comprised of only 106 members such as Proctor and Gamble, SD Johnson and Clorox, donated $2,500 to Cleaning for a Reason during their annual Partner Recognition Breakfast.  Clorox Company matched the donation with another $2,500, giving much-need funding to the non-profit for their base operations, computers and recruiting program.

Says Debbie Sardone, “Not only are we involved in community outreach, but we are involved in our industry.   I am committed to growing and developing my knowledge and expertise of this business in order to better serve our clients and employees.“

Indeed, reaching out in a humanitarian manner and strategic marketing between top-notch companies make for a stellar combination.  MarketingMeasure is stands ready to work with other Dallas companies as well (who knows – Phillip Crum might even pick up a broom, too)!  Contact him today at 214-213-7445!
