Hello, my name is Melinda Sullivan and I am a Registered Nurse specializing in home health care services for senior citizens.  Senior care is my professional passion.  My home health care services are comprehensive and include the following:

• Weekly medication set-up
• Phone reminders
• Nursing assessment / vital sign assessment
• Home health eligibility evaluation
• Local services referrals
• Assistance with Dr appointment arrangement / management, and communication
• Pharmacy refill calls
• Diabetes education

I am committed to providing the highest level of senior care, and treat your loved one with same respect and loving kindness that I treat my own family with.  My home care visits are never rushed or hurried, and I take the necessary time to explain what I’m doing.  As you will see on my website, my background includes a great variety of nursing experiences, but senior care, also referred to as elder care and geriatric care, has been the most personally rewarding.

Finding a registered nurse you can trust to be there for your loved one is important.  I have two elderly parents myself and it is vitally important to me that they be looked after in a loving and dignified manner. Senior care and the home health is not something I am willing to compromise on for my parents.

Service Areas

I provide home health and senior care services Coppell, Carrollton, Farmers Branch and surrounding areas. I live in Coppell with my husband and two children, so my focus is on Coppell home health and the immediate vicinity.  However, I will travel beyond to Carrollton and Farmers Branch, Lewisville and Flower Mound. 

As a Coppell home health care provider I am able to concentrate my senior care and home care services on residents in my community.  There are a number of other Coppell home health care and senior care providers, but relatively few operate as independent home health care providers in Coppell and the immediate area.   

Coppell senior care is becoming more available as the community begins to age and reflect the changing demographics of the area.  The Coppell Senior Citizens Center, located on Bethel Road, is a reflection of the expansion of services for Coppell seniors.  Strong senior care centers play an important role in shaping the mindset toward providing senior care and elder care services in a community.  Both of my own parents are highly involved with the Senior Citizens Center in their own hometown of Hereford, Texas.  The Senior Citizen Center there is a central part of their daily lives.

Coppell home care services are provided to many through Medicare, but once a senior citizen no longer qualifies for home care through Medicare they often turn to independent home care specialists.  That’s where I come in.  I provide Coppell home care services independently and, while I also work with a home health agency, I have made my services available on a private pay basis.
