Meridian Data Systems has a job opening for a PFY. Applications accepted till Friday, February 15, 2008
Jr Operations assistant.
Need to be able to communicate well with clients.

Must have understanding of Windows & Linux with a solid grasp of IP. Will manage 16 Class C networks and over 100 Servers.

Good written communications skills a plus.

Responsibilities will include

  • Installation of Windows & Linux OS
  • Familiarity with RH, Gentoo, & Ubuntu
  • Management of Corporate firewalls and routers
  • Managing Amanda Backup services
  • Troubleshooting client issues on servers
  • daily log review
