Lee Thurburn is the President of NetOffer, Inc., a Texas corporation based in Dallas. Mr. Thurburn incorporated NetOffer, Inc. in March 2002.
Mr. Thurburn received an Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1981. After graduation Mr. Thurburn worked for Arthur Anderson and Company in the Dallas Office as a Tax Accountant. In 1983 Mr. Thurburn started a professional accounting firm which he sold to his partner in 1985. From 1985 to 1989 Mr. Thurburn worked in the medical managment field where he wrote the book "Practice Managment for Optometry" which sold over 5,000 copies. In 1980 Mr. Thurburn returned to the Unversity of Texas at Arlington where he received a Masters of Business Administration with a focus in International Business in 1992.
In August of 1995 Mr. Thurburn founded FlashNet Communications, an Internet Service Provider based in Fort Worth, Texas. Under Mr. Thurburn's guidance as CEO and Chairman, FlashNet grew rapidly and in March 1999 successfully completed an IPO on the NASDAQ. In October 1999 FlashNet entered into an agreement to be acquired by Prodigy Communications and in August 2000 the merger was finally consumated.
NetOffer, Inc. operates a Real Estate Brokerage in the North Texas market area offering Flat Fee MLS Listing Services. NetOffer, Inc. has developed a social network for business system that is unique in many respects and uses the business social network system to offer Internet Advertising and Marketing services. The business social network system is built on both a Free Classified Advertising system and on a Free Online Directory system both of which were custom built by NetOffer.
