How Not to Install Solar Panels This video is incredible. What makes it even better is that this is supposedly an "expert" training people how to install solar panels. How NOT to Mount Solar Panels Would you let this guy on roof? These sorts of practices are what is going to give "solar guys" a bad reputation. Clearly this gentleman is not an expert in making roof penetrations and has no knowledge of building codes and best practices. Anyone with any sort of construction background/knowledge can easily see that this will cause leaks. Did you notice when he was drilling the second rail he accidentally went through the roof too then covered it up with a WOODEN BLOCK? Are you kidding me?
