Offensive line prospect who ranks as the nation's No. 60 guard by ESPN.com, and as the nation's No. 64 guard by Rivals ... Named an all-midwest region offensive lineman by PrepStar ... Regarded as a natural athlete who possesses a tremendous work ethic to go along with his considerable frame suited for the offensive line ... Three-year starter on the offensive line for Gilmer High School in East Texas, and also played eight games as a freshman in 2004 when his team won the class 3A state championship ... Won 1st-Team All-District and All-East Texas honors as a senior in 2007, while helping lead his team to a 14-1 final record, and a state runner-up showing ... Comes from an offensive system that is very similar to Mizzou's spread-style attack ... Had 94 pancake blocks in 2007, as he earned 2nd-Team All-State honors, as well ... Had 88 pancake blocks as a junior in 2006, while earning 1st-Team All-District and All-East Texas honors, as well ... Credited with 110 pancake blocks in his first year as a starter during his sophomore season, taking home 1st-Team All-District honors in the process ...
