We Are Microsoft Charity Challenge

So as Chris wrote earlier, I'll be attending the We Are Microsoft Charity Challenge this weekend. Basically, non-profits from around DFW submit proposals for website/web-application development and over one weekend a team of developers will build entire sites for the organizations that are picked.

My team of 4 will be working with with North Dallas Shared Ministries who collaborate with other charity organizations to serve persons of need in the community.

Not only will the non-profits benefit, but at the end of the weekend each team's project is judged and prizes are awarded for the best of the best.

I can't wait to get my hands dirty! Next week I'll let you know that my team won first place... ;)
