Infor, a leading business software company, holds a yearly conference titled “Inforum” which recognizes and awards outstanding work from the previous year. At this affair, Charles Phillips and other executives gathered to award various customers for their hard work, creativity, and success. Specifically, there is an “Excellence in Action’ award that recognizes companies who have used Infor’s technologies to improve their business in six different categories: Customer Excellence, Employee Excellence, Financial Excellence, Innovation, Operational Excellence, and one overall Customer of the Year award. Infor product experts evaluated the nominated applicants and chose winners based on various aspects, from improvement to technology use to innovation. Speakers at the affair included Charles Phillips, and president Stephan Scholl who stated, “We are excited to formally honor these companies for their exceptional use of technology to better serve their customers and employees, re-imagine their operations, strengthen finances, and successfully drive business value throughout the organization, More than 70,000 customers around the world rely on Infor for their critical business needs and the Infor Excellence in Action Awards provides a platform to highlight those that are most successful at using our products to drive innovation and excellence within their organization.”
The winners of the 2012 Infor Excellence in Action Awards were: Customer of the year - Brewster Dairy, Customer Excellence - Precision Manufacturing Group, Employee Excellence- Mission Health and Mohegan Sun, Financial Excellence - The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, Innovation - Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority, and Operational Excellence - Krnovské opravny a strojírny s.r.o. (ITeuro, a.s.)
The Customer of the Year award went to Brewster Dairy, which is the largest Manufacturer of Swiss cheese in America. Brewster successfully eliminated the process of making double entries into their data system by using Infor10 ION, which helped them save time by entering the data once, and sharing it across several applications. The Customer Excellence award was given to Precision Manufacturing Group for developing Infor10 ERP Express, which automated their systems and streamlined their workflow processes. At the Inforum affair, Charles Phillips noted that this Infor10 ERP Express helped Precision increase their overall revenue. Another winner of an award at the Inforum affair, by Charles Phillips and Infor, was the Cheesecake factory. The Cheesecake factory earned an award for its usage of Lawson S3 financial movement. Infor is proud to have such innovative and dedicated customers. “At the next Inforum affair”, Charles Phillips noted, “I hope to see even more success with our upcoming software applications.”
