Tradeshow models ready for CES in January
Crowd gatherers, hostesses, narrators, speakers, display and demonstration professionals, and world-class tradeshow models and talent will need to be at their very best for this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas January 6 through 9, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Las Vegas Hilton and at the Venetian.
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the world's largest tradeshow for consumer technology, will host the Consumer Electronics Show with over 17 popular categories of advanced technology for consumer use. Companies from 154 countries, will display their work and exchange information, generate leads, and sell their hardware and software.
At the 2010 show, 2,500 exhibitors showcased their products over more than 1.4 million square feet of exhibit space, with a total of 126,641 in attendance. Over 8,000 attendees represented companies with more than $500 million in total annual sales.
As interested visitors are observing, reading, listening, interacting, and text-messaging others on their handheld devices, each exhibitor will be using every opportunity to gain an edge, as competition for attention promises to be fierce, especially with the worldwide economic situation continuing to affect customer purchases.
Companies are scheduling the very best talent and the most attractive personnel to stimulate interest and generate sales leads. While the demonstrators and narrators explain their merchandise and present information, sales personnel will be busily working with attendees to exchange ideas and present solutions to the needs of the consumers who will buy from the retailers at the show.
In assembly-line style the tradeshow models, booth staff, and hostesses, so often relied upon to ensure businesses achieve their success goals, will be working seamlessly, to pre-qualify prospects—capturing names and business addresses, handling free drawing sign-ups and gift presentations and promotional items, distributing company literature, finalizing orders, recording transactions, and accommodating the needs of over 100,000 expected people in this four-day event, all seeking the edge they need to higher profits in the telecommunications, gaming, mobile communications businesses, and more.
